I've always liked Ba, even back when he was at West Ham I thought he was impressive.
He's been pretty consistent throughout most of his career though, as a 15-goal a season striker. That's nothing to be sniffed at, and if it's the best we can do in January I won't complain - he'd certainly make an impact.
His current form is somewhat of a purple patch, though, and he'll be 28 at the end of the season. For me, if we've got cash to spend, I'd wonder if we couldn't do a little better, but I'd settle for Ba if the market isn't kind.
