Well played Wigan, really happy for them. Being selfish I had hoped they would of played 120mins and then beaten them but this will do instead!
FA cup 2013
Should have been us. The FA Cup is so winnable.
Big magnum of Budweiser for the an of the match
Good luck to Wigan and Martinez, always nice to see a bit of a fairytale.
We'll be relegating them on Tuesday.

I reckon we should give them a guard of honour, just coz,
They won't be relegated if we beat them on Tuesday unless Sunderland Newcastle and Norwich pick up points tomoz

What's Wigan's record against big teams in recent years? they've beaten United, Arsenal and now City in the last 12 months alone.
I think they beat Liverpool at Anfield last season as well, although eveyone beat Liverpool back then.

Agreed, but y'know........Wenger knows.
Fantastic for Wigan. Hoped for extra time and penalties but couldn't help cheering the goal. Fully deserved win which further showed how pathetic it is for us not to have managed a cup in the last 8 years.
Portsmouth Birmingham and Wigan, the list of shitty clubs who are not good enough for the premiership but are at least good enough to win a trophy goes on.
That McManaman was fantastic I thought. Absolutely destroyed Clichy. Irony of course being he shouldn't be anywhere near a football pitch for some time to come.

True, Clichy is indeed rubbish.
Just shows what I've been saying all along, the magic of the FA cup is still alive.
The over hyped commercialism of the PL can't change that.
Maybe. If City had won it there would've been about as much magic as a seniors bingo night.
Earth to Burnsy- They didn't.
Ouch. If you prick me, do I not bleed?
My point is, it's not as if the FA Cup itself uniquely "retains the magic". Football as a whole has that magic, it's just you don't get it every day.
Just yesterday we had an even more magic moment in the Watford - Leicester promotion match but I don't hear any cries that we should prioritise playing in the Championship because that's where the magic is retained.
The variation of results is one of the sport's chief attractions and always will be.
I didn't call you a prick!
I guess I'm just irritated by all the vilification of the minor cup's (FA league and Europa), to me it seems people are only doing it because we don't even have a chance of winning these competitions.
First win the FA or Europa cup and then you might have more credibility if you continue to disparage them.
Indeed beggars can't be choosers.
I absolutely agree.
I envy Chelsea's run to the final of the Europa. Whatever your absolute view is on the merits of the competition, it's worth a lot more to fans than our round of 16 exit even though we managed to compete against Bayern.
We should've won more than one domestic cup competition since 2005 and in some cases, Wenger's selections have been complacent. This year's FA Cup exit is a good example, we arguably got knocked out because he didn't start three of our best.
