not likely. No use speculating about it IMO
No project is enticing Gotze anywhere and I suspect the same goes for Cavani.

Thinking long term Llorente could be a real steal, but we're not going to have a long-term perspective to work with unless we fix the team right away. I can see it happen though. Wenger is a fan and we've been linked for years.
My concern is that he'll do a Torres. Chelsea figured he would snap out of his bad form eventually too but it has carried on for two years. In Llorente's defense it doesn't look like a coincidence that he's been benched and out in the cold for the first time in eight years after refusing point blank to extend his contract.
Michu

Bull crap but wouldn't it be nice
Could he even move to another prem club so soon?
I think so. Diarra did. Michu is brilliant in any case. Hasn't played in Europe either so he'd be eligible for Champions League. Getting him and one or two other players would be a start.
Yep he fits the bill perfectly.
Michu is worth spunking big money on IMO
Yeah. Should have picked him up in the summer for a third of the price though. Our scouts have been awful for a long time now. Last gem they found was Kos. The only really good signings we've made in recent memory have been players Wenger has admired for a long time, such as Cazorla or Arteta. Mertesacker fits in there too I suppose. The rest have been either average or a poor fit. Gotta wonder what the scouting network is good for when so many quality players move for reasonable prices under our noses.
Yep. Got to the point where wenger has to move for players for whom he has no doubts about their quality
Hope we go for michu, gotze and sterling
Wenger, today.
"We are in the country of Socrates. 'I know that I know nothing', and that is a bit like football.
That was in reply to a question about rumoured links to Lampard.
I wouldn't worry. Doubt Lampard wants to come here.
Huntelaar and Ba

Inevitable link finally surfaces.
Please let it be true.
We will be linked with everyone due to our plight. I won't believe a single rumour until I see Wenger grinning next to the player at a press conference
Geoff reckons we're in for Ba, Mbiwa, and one other player who's 'not that exciting but exactly what we need'. Not Lampard or Zaha.
I reckon Geoff's full o'shit.
Would love to get mbiwa
CB isn't really a problem right now. Need an AM, a winger and a striker.
Minimum.
CM(someone who can run and defend a bit, preferably big and strong) over an AM surely?
Jack, Santi, Rosicky, Arshavin, Chamberlain- plenty of options for the no. 10 position.

What kind of player is he?

Jack - aggressive enough? Santi - enough of a leader? Rosicky - yuck Shavva - Wenger won't play him there + he's off Ox - maybe but inconsistent
I reckon we've got a lot of players that can do CM. Perhaps not in the fashion we'd like ideally but they'll do a job for now.
