no. we need to stop signing all these mediocrities. they offer little out on the pitch and is costing this club a fortune in wages. either sign proper top quality or just forget it. enough is enough.

Flo, if you mean me, then I AM serious. I think we have 3 really good CBs and I am well happy with Djourou as 4th choice.

Signing another CB should be last on our list of priorities IMO. We are a lot weaker everywhere else on the pitch.

Sneijder hasn't played all season because Inter are trying to slash his wages. I'm surprised this story hasn't broken sooner. Lazio were forced to release Pandev (who, ironically, went to Inter) because of a similar incident. United are guarenteed to be in for him if he leaves but expect Arsenal to be linked soon too.

Was just thinking about Cavani and Gotze.
Cavani is the highest plaid player in the history of his team, and is pretty much guaranteed to play with them in the Champions League next season. Gotze's team will likely be in Champions League next season. They play in front of a massive, adoring crowd, and have just won the domestic league.

Why would either one of these guys come to Arsenal in the absence of an ambitious Mansour/Abramovich style project?
