I guess not. Though why would he be travelling with the squad if he wasn't going to be in it? And why would it be newsworthy?
Not much has to happen for it to be newsworthy but its true - I see little reason he couldn't just go separately or tomorrow if he wasn't playing. I hope he's in the squad but after Wenger said 80% match fit, it would backfire heavily on him for including him if he picks up an injury.
He may just want to give him a 10 min cameo if we're up comfortably. Less pressure than making his first appearance back at home I guess. He could still then play in the reserves on Monday and be really ready for QPR.
I don't think that was the reason why Big Per started winning every header against anyone who would fancy to go for the ball. When you Big Per's size and you don't have to think about also tracking a runner, then you are quite likely to win a fair share of headers. He happened to win all of them though.
Not too concerned about Kos missing this, the Per and Vermaelen partnership had been working well until disturbed by Vermaelen's virus and Wenger's decision to start Kos ahead of Per for the Chelsea game.
Excited that Jack is back in the squad - might see him replace Cazorla later on in the game? Santi could probably do with sitting out the last ten minutes or so provided we're comfortable.
