Chamberlain and Coquelin off the bench are pretty decent options really. Not having a striker on the bench is worrying, I'll give you that. The starters will just have to do the job in front of the goal.

Why pollute the bench with Chamakh?
Akpom has only just signed his first professional contract and has zero experience at this level but I'd rather see him there ahead of Chamakh.

He looks great does Gnarbry, hope he can show his worth in the league cup, not sure I'd throw him into the deep end considering the options already 'proven' there.

By the way, what ever happened Joel Campbell, from the vids I saw he was class class class.

Feels like the season is really going to start now that the international interruptions are done for the time being.

Anything result other than a win here is wrong.

If we don't get our three points it'll be because we showed up with the wrong attitude, or because we've been undone by long high balls to Holt.

Norwich have been a fairly hopeless bunch this season so far, even with our injuries and accounting for some post international hangover there can't be any valid reason for them beating us.
They concede loads (to date they've twice conceded five and once four) plus they have the worst conversion rate in the league.
I don't have any great animosity towards them but I do hope we batter them 🙂
We could do with progressing from where we left off against West Ham, bounce back into the swing of things.

Too bad about Koscielny. I really liked the way we played when Kos came on against West Ham. With 3 CBs Per could focus on just getting to the high ball, and I think he beat Carroll in the air every time after that. Playing 3-5-1-1, sort of, we also looked the most composed in possession in the whole game, and we created plenty of chances as a bonus.

Don't think Wenger is equally keen on trying that out against Norwich with Djourou instead of Koscielny, despite the threat being similar with the high ball from deep and crosses. Morrison or Holt pose the same kind of aerial threat as Carroll does.

To be fair to Carroll, he wasn't as match fit to last 90 minutes and he worked really hard and jumped a lot. The reason Per started beating him in the end, was because he tired out.

I agree though, we looked solid with 5 at the back. Should definitely try it again when we need to see out a game.
