Couple of pointers.
1) Ramsey was outright shit today, one of the major reasons that contributed to our loss. He fucked our midfield shape up by constantly going off his position, making Cazorla play so deep to cover him. When Santi isn't advanced enough to influence our play we suffers. Not to mention about Ramsey's losing the ball with every pass he receive and slowing down our entire passing so much.
2) Podolski was totally nowhere near in the game. We have seen that many times this season now, and even though he sometimes still score goals despite being very poor in the game, should we continue to let it happen? I have already voiced my concerns about playing a winger who can't really dribble and beat his man alone and taking away's 2 of our players best positions by fielding him.
3) Arteta was the only one who played really well(actually Jenkinson, Mert and Verm was pretty decent too). Still, when you can see he tried to influence attacking play, he don't have enough pace to track back. He is really quite slow, didn't realise that. There was one moment he and Mertesacker sprinted back and he was lagging behind so much.
4) I have no issues with Giroud, Cazorla and Gervinho. They weren't at their best too but at least all 3 of them kept trying to create things to make things happen.
5) Santos, for all his brilliant touches and play failed to put in a single cross the entire game. WTF?
