i've been doing functional strength training for the last 6 months
mainly based off kettlebells (get-ups, swings, snatches, cleans)
body weight (pull ups, renegade rows, one leg squats)
and explosive cardio (interval cycling, mountain climbers, burpees)
diet has been about 1.5-2g of protein per lb from from chicken/fish/shakes, carbs mainly from fruit and vegetables with the occassional brown rice/pasta, and fats from flaxseed oil, mixed nuts, and peanut butter. i've aimed for leaning down, so i've done my best to eat around 200-300 below calorie maintenance.
never been in better shape, especially the explosive strength in my legs. i can violently dunk a basketball in a variety of ways now, which is what i've always wanted.
