Anyone do juicing meals (similar to the 'fat, sick and nearly dead' doc on Netflix, but not as full on). Used to skip breakfasts (and sometimes lunch) out of laziness/time constraints but been on the green juices for a couple of months and it really makes a difference to the mind and energy levels. 100% of the nutrients and all the good stuff. Recommend if you have blood disorders and any sort of health issues really.
You can skip breakfast if you want, all this kickstarting you metabolism with breakfast, or eating frequently is bullshit. What's important is you get the nutrition you need, this can be in 2 meals or in 5. Their are variations on intermittent fasting, one is to eat in a 10 time window, and nothing for 14 hours (remember you are asleep for 7-8 of those), so if you want to skip breakfast, go for it.
You need protein (not shed loads, more if you are resistance training yes, but people many training get too carried away), but if you are in a calorie deficit that is required for weight loss, up the protein a little. Protein is both used for buidling/repairing/maintaining muscles as well as a fuel. In a calorie deficit, you wnat to make sure that you have sufficient protein as it's more likley some will be used for fuel.
You need fats, both saturated (important in hormone production such as testosterone) and unsaturated fats (important in cell development a helthy nervous system and with Omega's for inflamamtion as well as a healthy brain (which is mainly fat))
You need vitamins and minerals, but you don't have to go nuts like most advocates of juicing diets seems to proclaim, you can't store them, so you'll just piss em out
Juicing is fine if you are not into eating a range of vegetables, but if you are not juicing veg and are mainly juicing fruit, then you are taking in a lot of carbs, and to have a calorie deficit, then you'll have to cut some calories somewhere else, which mean protein and fats. Fine in the short term, but not in the long.
