Kinda want it to be the insane media circus (with zero emotional investment) of an El Clasico final now.
I can see Bayern beating Barca 🙂
I want Ronaldo to lift the damn thing. I haven't derived as much joy watching a player since the early days of Fat Ronaldo.
How many damn El Clasicos do we have each season? Want a Barca-Dortmund or Madrid-Bayern final, preferably the former with Barca losing out. I think each of the teams has an equal chance of winning it. Barca seem off this year.
I think Dortmund are clearly a step below the others. Barca have 1) fatigue from all the Barca/Spain success and 2) the disruption related to manager's health. I do think that on any given Tuesday if Iniesta/Xavi/Messi turn it on, there isn't a team in the world that can stop them.
I don't want Dortmund to win. I still hold up marginal hope that we can entice one of their players with higher wages. Gotze, Hummels, Lewandowski.

With you - little tired of the Messi hype/lovefest.
Though I guess in saying this I'm just throwing that at Ronaldo.
Me too. Also because for some obtuse reason I want Mourinho's legend to continue, which pretty much necessitates Madrid winning it.
I don't even like Mourinho so I'm not sure where that springs from. Probably a desire to see Barca taken down a peg.
Ronaldo is impressive but I don't find him anywhere near as entertaining as real ronaldo.
There are only a select few who really had me dreaming and mesmerised by there sheer quality.
Real ronaldo, zidane, messi, Baggio and iniesta do that

He's a good Samaritan these days is Mourinho

That's heartwarming actually.
Although he did do fourteen fucking weeks of volunteer labour for it! And probably makes in a year what your average galactico makes in three days. But still, heartwarming. 🙂

No Ronaldinho?
Ronaldinho is times more entertaining than Messi.
I don't find Ronaldo that entertaining, his peak was in 06/07 when he was allowed to be a complete footballer. Similarly Messi's peak was between 2008-2011. Now it's more about how brutally effective he is more than anything.
Neither of them are any where close to Ronaldino, the things he did with a football were outrageous.
Messi's skill is mesmerising at times, his brilliance is subtle as he doesn't indulge himself, he's possibly the least egotistical of the greats? Even though he's the main man at Barca he is very much a team player, their style requires him to be.
Ronaldinho was something else - and his legend will continue for years.
Given the choice to see Ronaldinho or Messi play I would choose Ronnie every time.
Messi's simply a machine.
I actually find Ronaldo to be more of a machine than Messi. With Ronaldo you can see that he's almost been purpose built.
I got distracted by the dirt underneath that fingernail flicking those pages
Iniesta is my favourite player to watch.
Ronaldinho didn't do it for me footnallistically. Resemble one of those tricksters you see
I prefer subtle awareness. Take messi, he understands the shape of the play so well. Uses decoys and can beat a man at will just by a simple dropping of the shoulder or hip shimmy. The guy is ridiculously good.
Fake ronaldo is effective but a lot of that is down to his pace and power as oppposed to subtleness
Ronaldinho and Henry are the most entertaining players I've ever seen.
