I agree that tika taka is dead 🙂, I agree we played miles better than Barca did against Bayern, still don't agree that we were competitive though.

There were five minutes when they feared we'd eliminate them - that's something. A draw on aggregate has to count as "competing", right?

I think they were saying he might still have a chance but according to that felt something in his hamstring again so is definitely out.

Good news I reckon, should make it more competitive.

If we're still claiming 4th spot regularly once this comes into effect I could see us getting screwed like Spurs were last season though.

Sky had Rafa Honigstein and a former Liverpool and Manc exec to talk about the differences between the PL and Bundesliga. The Exec predicted Bayern would win the CL. He also said that the PL is way more competitive than the Bundesliga because of the TV money that is poured into all clubs, with an average team in the PL getting as much as Bayern. He also said Bayern can basically buy the league title whenever they really want to [can't Manchester United?]. Both agreed that Germany's youth system allows them to not need expensive transfers as much.

Can get 11/10 on this being under 2.5 goals. Tempted to bet on that or even chance a scorecast of 1-0 Bayern or 1-1. I think this will be a tight game and maybe a bit niggly.
