That game yesterday. How crappy were Barca without the imp? Right before he came on, they were under all kinds of pressure from Lavezzi and co. This PSG midfield-less team is all about pushing the ball quickly into attack and Barca were under real pressure. Then the imp comes on and Barca take control of the game. He's some player. I think his presence both lifted Barca and shook PSG a little.

Think it is very harsh to call PSG a midfield-less team. The midfield along with the defenders did what very few team succeed with when facing Barcelona - they played their way out of their pressure and thus putting Barcelona on the back foot. You don't accomplish that with a midfield-less team.

All in all, you have to think that this really was an opportunity missed by PSG. They had a real chance of knocking Barcelona out, but due to wastefulness in converting the chances they beautifully created it wasn't to be. They'll be kicking themselves I reckon.

Germans are always arrogant. Its not a new thing. Bayern is a pretty big club tbf, easily as big as United in europe actually.

When they are not successful, they try to reinvest all our to be successful again. They won't accept failures.

Just see what Dortmund players say when they are linked with us. They actually laughed at us as a club.

How many damn El Clasicos do we have each season? Want a Barca-Dortmund or Madrid-Bayern final, preferably the former with Barca losing out. I think each of the teams has an equal chance of winning it. Barca seem off this year.

I think Dortmund are clearly a step below the others. Barca have 1) fatigue from all the Barca/Spain success and 2) the disruption related to manager's health. I do think that on any given Tuesday if Iniesta/Xavi/Messi turn it on, there isn't a team in the world that can stop them.

I don't want Dortmund to win. I still hold up marginal hope that we can entice one of their players with higher wages. Gotze, Hummels, Lewandowski.

Me too. Also because for some obtuse reason I want Mourinho's legend to continue, which pretty much necessitates Madrid winning it.

I don't even like Mourinho so I'm not sure where that springs from. Probably a desire to see Barca taken down a peg.

Ronaldo is impressive but I don't find him anywhere near as entertaining as real ronaldo.

There are only a select few who really had me dreaming and mesmerised by there sheer quality.

Real ronaldo, zidane, messi, Baggio and iniesta do that

That's heartwarming actually.

Although he did do fourteen fucking weeks of volunteer labour for it! And probably makes in a year what your average galactico makes in three days. But still, heartwarming. 🙂
