Anybody saw statszone on Arsenal.com?
Surprising Poldi and Ox gave us more width than Gervinho and Theo, whose average position was more central. The space between Cazorla and Arteta/Diaby was quite far apart too. 2 DM and 1 AM
Not surpising really. Theo generally passes the ball back to the right back/midfielder and then bombs into the box; very rarely does he look to link up with his support down the flank. Gervinho comes inside alot because he plays from the left.

And that the useless Johnson thinks he is Dani Alves. His average position was almost higher than Borini 😆 Got a lashing from MOTD about that I remember.
EDIT: That said, Gibbs position was higher than Podolski...
two banks of four without the ball and also man-marking. Lulu tracking Johnson into ridiculous positions.

Too much 'fluidity' expected of them. It's a similar madness to what we have endured at various points over the last few seasons. You can't throw three players in and expect them to interchange at will straight away.
On the day, I actually thought Pool's midfield did okay. It certainly wasn't a once sided contest.
