God knows how Newcastle have managed to assemble so many really good players without any big club at all coming in for them.
Especially considering how every player at Newcastle is officially available at the right price. Most of their best players are on long contracts, so they'd be expensive, but they are all proven in the Premier League, so it'd be worth it.

Yup, like the sound of this. Would have preffered Sahin but I think he's a better fit than M'Vila. He's used to having a very defensive Tiote next to him so it'll be interesting to see how he does if there is a more defensive responsibility on his shoulders.

Their idea of right price is probably mental though -selling galloping Carroll for £35m gave them a taste for rip off
Newcastle have as good as said that they aim to buy smart and cheap and then sell high. That's the way they look to move the club forward. If the price is right, and it makes sense, they'll sell, and then reinvest and do it again.

I'd imagine he'll have a silly price tag hanging over him considering the length of time he has remaining on his contract and the role he plays at Newcastle, key, key player for them.

I wouldn't go anywhere near Demba Ba, his knees would give out the second he finished the medical. It's a miracle that Newcastle have managed to keep him fit.

Cabaye's a class player, but I don't see him improving our squad. He is too Arteta-like.
Not the sort of midfield player we need.
I think we need another really, really good central midfielder more than anything, and Cabaye fits the bill.
