Been surprised how quickly Oscar has adapted to the league.
Bodes well for when we sign Neymar.
Biggest surprise for me is Mata. He was decent last season, but this year, he has been incredibly impressive. His ability to create goals for himself, distribute and make blind passes is just remarkable. He has an almost Bergkampesque ability to spot the players around him. I hear we looked into him before Chelsea snapped him up.
Best players this season for me have been him and He Whose Name We Will Not Mention

He was more than decent last season, mate. I think he ended it with practically identical stats compared to Özil. He got a bit overlooked because Chelsea were shit most of the time but any good that came out of that team originated from him.
I know he was good last season, but he was a top 10-15 player. This season he's arguably the 2nd best player after RvP. He's stunning.
He was better than Silva over the course of last season.
I really rate Hazard, but I can't believe Mata is so much more effective than him.
Give Hazard some time to adapt and he will tear it up in the PL. He is that good.

I would guess potential sponsors do not want to be associated with racists and it would give Rodgers the funds he needs to build his own team.
