I'm listening to people talk about how amazingly consistent he is now. No he's not, he did fuck all for ages and now he's hit a purple patch. In another month he'll disappear again.

He's scored nearly 20 goals for Spurs this season though. Loathe the guy, but he's undeniably one of the best in the country.

Since I haven't been paying much attention to football this season up until about a month ago, I feel so uninformed about what's been going on in the league. I kept hearing the insane Bale hype, but was baffled at why he hadn't scored more goals. Was he injured?

I also find myself forgeting that Rafa manages Chelsea, Dempsey and Dembele play for Spurs, Harry is at QPR, Joe Cole is at West Ham? Sturridge is at Liverpool and what the hell happened to Carroll? And what happened to City? And Aguero? 🙂

Why you not watching much footy Nela?

Bale has been pretty much an ever present. Spurs started off the season playing well but now just seem clinical in a man united type of way.

After we lost to Chelsea early in the season and everything just got worse after that I just got so sick of it. I still watched Arsenal everytime we played, but it felt like a chore. I found myself dreading our games rather than looking forward to them. I stopped reading Arsenal blogs, rarely visited the forum and was very out of touch with team news and injuries.

But now I find myself looking forward to our next game again. Even when we were shit against Chelsea and City I wanted the next game to come quickly. I can't wait for Saturday and Tuesday and I hate the liklihood that we may go out of the CL this round.

True. Was a grim period. Fortunately it looks like we are starting to click. Still wish we'd done more during the window though

we all know bale is limited in some respects, but arsenal do miss an explosive machine of a player that can bully teams on his own.

I don't think Bale is that limited, but he does disappear from matches. In that sense though Poldi has similar issues.
