Cheers guys, it's been celebration galore all day at my place.
I never used to watch the team very much over the past decade because of the utter incompetence of the FA when it came to selecting coaches, as well as the coaches' inability to assemble a proper team due to corruption and politics.
Plus, I always said there's only room for one source of heart ache in my life, and I already assigned that to Arsenal.
This team however struck me as a good unit- better balance as regards to the Africa/ local based and internationally-based players, had less individual stars, but more players who understood their roles, respected the coach, (an issue with many African teams as many of the foreign-based players, tend to be egotistic, generally earn much more, and hence feel "bigger" than the local coach and players, thus disrupting dressing room harmony) , and were actually hungry for success.
Mikel was a rock in midfield, Moses was a different class on the wings, and Emenike was a beast upfront.
Happy for the team. Extremely proud of them.
