That is pretty much the only conclusion Cole, and everybody else, can come to is the FA's view though?

It wasn't strictly the FA, it was an independent panel. And they basically said Cole is an unreliable witness, which he clearly is. He changed his story half way through and he's good mates with Terry.

i wonder if henry thinks it was worth it.. leaving arsenal to win a CL with barca, but being a bit part player, shunted out on the wing. tbf, he'd lost a lot of his pace and quickness by then, so it's probably as much as he could've expected.

but could he have made the difference in those seasons when we missed the title (or other trophies) by small margins?

Just back from the Wellington - Sydney game. Solid 2-0 win for Wellington. Del Piero had a few classy moments on the ball and had a couple of shots from distance but Sydney looked fairly awful. Would have to be wondering why on Earth he's gone there. He's extremely slow now though so think he'd have been an absolutely donkey in the Premiership if he'd gone to Liverpool.
