Got a lot of respect for things like history and culture. National football teams, not so much. I've only liked Ljungberg and Larsson in the last fifteen years or so, and I liked Freddie mostly because he played for Arsenal.

No wonder Klaus jumped ship before tonight. J O Shea made Ibra his bitch tonight, absolutely majestic.

Didn't realise Sweden were so poor, was expecting to be on the back foot for most of that but it was very comfortable. Jon Walters passing to someone, turning and running 40 yards up the pitch repeatedly was probably the highlight of the match for me.

Looked like a nothing challenge but he decided to have a lie down anyway.
Didn't appear after half time. Terrible.
Ramsey got himself a goal and a red card. Gets a rest until next weekend then.

It probably averaged out to a 6/10 performance from Ramsey. Started well but got progressively worse. Slammed home the penalty well enough though, which is encouraging. Embarrassing sending off - he was forced into it after being wasteful and giving the ball away. Wonder who's dying tonight.

At one point he received the ball, taking it down from a long, high pass with a very delicate first touch. They all do things for their NTs we could only dream of.

Quite a good night of internationals for us - a goal and assist for Chamberlain, a goal and a red for Ramsey, a goal for Giroud, a clean sheet for Per and Podolski gets his 108th cap.

Has anyone got a gif of the Giroud goal?
Chamberlain's goal looked mighty, took on and out the defence, great finish.
He's been showing the signs that he's looking for goals and finding his range recently.
