Having read the most recent comments from Wenger regarding Jack's injuries and rehab I'm mainly just hoping that this season doesn't bring anymore major setbacks for him.
Anything else will be a bonus.
He's worked like a demon to get back, I've got a lot of respect for his strength of mind and attitude.
Facing the real fear of his career ending at the age of 19 must have been fairly crushing at times.

Wenger insists Wilshere's injury nightmare is very different to that of his former striker Eduardo, who suffered a horrific ankle break back in 2008 and struggled to rediscover his old form on his return.

"Jack's problem has been different to Eduardo as he has not lost any of the flexibility in his ankle," adds Wenger. "When you lose some flexibility in a joint, then it can make it difficult to be at your best, but this is not a problem for Jack."

I think we're being more careful with Jack than we would have with other player because he's a real product of the youth system with potential to be at the very top of the game. If this was Diaby, Ramsey, Rosicky, etc I don't think we'd have taken quite as much care.

That's not what I meant.
I was speaking about the fear being real as opposed to the injury being of the kind that would end a career.

I didn't doubt he would be back, but you would have to ask him if it crossed his mind - I would say yes.
'I am certain he will be a better player.
If you have this type of injury after the age of 25 it is different. 'After three months competition I am sure he will be back to his best. It takes time to find that little burst again.'

that was me being facetious. yea, basically it's a bigger and newer building since our squad is now larger. wilshere's getting the same treatment he would've gotten in the previous building, as the staff and their methods haven't changed.

If they're starting for Arsenal then they should play like they deserve it. If he's not up to snuff then he shouldn't be starting, and any criticism with a solid basis in the reality of the performance is totally valid. Just like Diaby and Ramsey, Wilshere should NOT be a starting player at this club if he can't perform like one. Bench until up to snuff should be the policy, not straight back into the first team wandering about on the pitch for a few months trying to find your form again.
