Oh well at least we made 15m profit after all the whole point of signing foreign youngsters is the massive profits we make. his the last remaining foreign youth project player remaining, except for diaby, djourou, Bendtner, coquelin

Song won't take busquets spot. He'll be a cb or utility man.

He's not good enough for them. He will have to change but I don't think he has the brainpower to do so

We can sell all of these players but Chamakh, Park, Squillaci, Diaby, Djourou and Mannone are all still here.

Fuck this.

Replace Busquets!? 😆

Not unless he's improved 1000% in the last 24 hours.

Apparantly Busquets welcomed the idea of Song coming in. That tells you what you need to know.

Song could replace Keita easily imo.

This shit is fucking infuriating.

Best first two months of a transfer window in ages and we still end up going into the season having lost two of our most important players.

I still cannot understand this Song's sale if it goes through. I thought he was happy here and why in gods name does he want to go to Barca where he is not even sure whether he will be in the team or not while he is a guaranteed starter here!

If the rumour about Song's attitude is true, you've got to wonder what sparked it off. I don't believe he has simply gotten too big for his boots. I've always thought he came across as a hard working and down to earth kinda guy.

Maybe the agent has put something in his head and Song's head is turned?

Maybe he saw RVP leaving and said "fuck this, I'm leaving too"

So who will be next? Walcott?

I'm waiting till I hear something from a source a bit more reliable than Myles Palmer or some random twitterer before I get sucked into this one.

afcamden is actually quite reliable compared to most of those muppets on twitter.

I can't say I'm going to lose any sleep over Song leaving, seriously think he is over-rated by some Arsenal fans.

Walcott will sign.

When the Caz rumours were going around I heard this so I started following him. I haven't seen anything to suggest he has a clue since then TBH. He hadn't a clue on any of the RVP stuff. He's only started talking about Song really the last day or so. From what I can see he takes paper talk and the says "I've heard RVP is close" etc

And wasn't the big exclusive about Cazorla that he supposedly had just that he said we were going to sign a Spanish player? He seems to have turned a tiny nugget of info into an awful lot people believing him about everything.

He actually thought RVP was going to stay.

He like the rest of the other twitter losers know nothing and none of them ever will.

song has become too much of a flash cunt since 2010. he can fuck off to barca for 20m and sit behind busquets and masch in the pecking order.

gurgen said it. watching him try to play for them would be hilarious.

Well at least we'll know where we stand on this one by Saturday evening.

AFCAMDEN gets little tidbits here and there. But he is/was a huge RvP fan and deluded himself that RvP would end up staying. I've seen a few Arsenal/RvP fans go to pathetic lenghts the last couple of months to free RvP of any wrongdoing, so he's certainly not the only one.

Geoff Arsenal I've only followed for about a month. But he was definetely first on Cazorla, and he was first about us having serious interest in Sahin. Last night he said RvP was close to leaving and that Song to Barca was 80% done. Doesn't seem so crazy now. I'll keep following him to see how the other stuff turns out.

In fairness this morning the papers were saying those 2 things so thats not a heap of ITK either.

Geoff said Sahin to Arsenal was done.

Now the latest rage is Sahin to Liverpool

Yeah a real ITK......
