nope, Bartley's a nicer Bentley. Club probably advised him of the option too.
Alex Song
dont care if song goes, ive never realy been satisfied with him nailing down a starting place so readily. weve almost purged ourselves entirely of entitled twats from the cesc era, and it looks like we're rebuilding on a foundaion of mature established pros. sahin or mvila in, and ill be ok.
So Barca are in official talks with us over Song, unbelievable. We've really become a selling club, when a good player reachs a certain level and others are interested in him, he just leaves because Arsenal is not good enough for him anymore. Can't think about too many top clubs where it works the same way...
who cares, it's song. easily replaced.
Yep. Good riddance and good luck on Barcelona's bench.
Now let's get rid of Theo and be fully rid of the losers.......oh shit nobody wants him!
Rid of the losers?
Arshavin.
Remember when we were ecstatic at Arshavin's arrival, like we are about Carzorla? Now we're taking the piss out of him.
So much loyalty.
Arshavin gave up on trying to be the best he could be quite a while back.
He doesn't deserve 'loyalty' because he has been happy to sit on his arse picking up his fat paycheck - which we fund - every week.
I think Arshavin his going to be Santi understudy for the season at least for the first part of the season.

Excess loyalty has hurt us over the last few years. Wenger has to be ruthless, look at Ferguson.
I actually think he could be more useful in this current set-up working off short-passes and trickery from Cazorla and Oxlade. But the issue is always about whether his attacking exploits out-weigh his lack of defensive contribution. I'm in favour of having him as a 3rd (back-up) striker because I think he still has goals in him. He took on that role rather well when we played him as a lone forward at Anfield and during some other games in that period.
Still, he could've been much more if he was bothered. That's the most disappointing part of it.
Arshavin gave up a long time before the fans did.

Not sure if true, nicely written though.

Not really. Arshavin was a much higher level. I haven't seen that kind of excitment about a player since him and Reyes to be fair.

You're right, let's also give Wenger a lifetime contract while we're at it.
Not going to get wound up about this either.
Just get bloody working on a proper replacement Arsene.
Bye bye.
Who's next?
