My own feeling is that, whatever is going on off the field with Song, Wenger is looking to sell because he's narked off with some of the things he's been doing on the pitch.

Song has been vital for us in the last couple of years but as long as we bring in Sahin, Mvila i'm not to fussed. He will fail at Barca big time.

We can afford to hold out for that amount in the sense that we're not under pressure to sell, but if Sahin is the replacement we probably can't expect him to hang about until we squeeze the last penny out of Barca.

If Song and Dein were using this interest from Barca to manoeuvre a better deal here then I think they've just been outmanouevered.

Yep, song and dein would be suprised at how quickly wenger has gone public and wants him out, Dein's tactics of pressuring arsenal wont work anymore.

The ever reliable AFCAMDEN says AW disgusted with Song's attitude in training. Sell him if thats the case. Always seems like he is playing around in training pictures.

Wenger doesn't sell players for no reason. He was angry about RVP statement thats why forced him out, now it seems to be the case for Song as well.

Sahin Cazorla Arteta midfield could be wonderful.

Biggus will be pleased! Just picturing that Clint Eastwood gif he posted the other day.

We'd play some nice stuff withat midfield, and they're all smart players, but physical presence does count for a bit in the prem. It would be interesting to see.

Maybe he's doing it to balance the books?

Song has been here for a long time and there hasn't been any reports of him having a bad attitude/being a disruptive influence in the dressing room. Surely someone with bad attitude can't fake/hide it for so long.

Song actually frustrates me, there are aspects of his game I don't like, but there's no denying that he's one of our best players and has been the main stay in our midfield the last few years. Fans underestimate the importance of continuity in football, little wonder we've always been in transition since we started selling our best players left right and centre.

I'm all for improving our starting 11, but then don't sell the 1st choice, bring in players to compete with them and sell the dead wood or squad players. But ofcourse we won't do that because it doesn't make from financial point of view.

I will be livid if he's sold and that is coming from someone who's not a massive Song fan.

I've only read the quotes - did Wenger seem resigned, fed-up, angry or up-beat, determined, relaxed?

I think AFCAMDEN is much more reliable than your usual reports. Look at what he has posted, everything is true. 100%.

I think Barca midfield has shown that if you are positioning disciplined and keeps possession, it will be much more solid than having a physical defensive mid. Manure haven't had that for years too yet they are okay. As long as you dominate games and score more than others it will be okay.
