Look, we don't know if Sahin would really be the biz or not, we don't know what would happen after 1 year here he may be delighted and ask for a move, Madrid might be desperate to sell- who knows?
The fact is what we do know for sure is that once again Wenger has refused to go the whole way in order to get a result, thats what separates him from real winners like Ferguson or Mourinhio.

It's not a question of "using" anything Nels, it's just another player who we could have had but missed out on for the sake of a few quid.
If Wenger wants to run the team on budget of other mid table sides- Don't be surprised if we finish up among them.

Well it's now on the Liverpool website that they've agreed a deal with Madrid and the player will sign subject to a medical. Sounds like he's already agreed personal terms. Shame but guess we just have to move onto the next target.

True, but in all the cases where we've not coughed up the money and lost out on a player, I think this is one of the more understandable.

Fair enough GM, I didn't know a lot about the player, just like I didn't know a lot about Carzorla, but wait till I tell you- don't laugh- But I trust Wenger when he picks players, he's very good at it.
He's useless at tactically outfoxing the opposition in tight games and of course hopelessly deluded as regards his style of football, but when it comes to having a eye for a good player I've no complaints.

The fact that he's struggled to make any sort of impact in the PL makes me cautious. Right now, we're in need of players that can make a difference straight away.
