To be fair I think if he doesn't come here it isn't from a lack of trying, more Mourinho and R.Madrid not wanting him at Arsenal. End of the day he is their player, we can't force them to loan him out to us.
Also loan and any other transfer deals take time as there are always minor issues that need to be sorted, not quite as straight forward as fans & papers will have you believe.
