That's more or less twice what Madrid paid Dortmund. I'm willing to call bullshit.
Could well be a bit high, but he has five years left on his contract.
Sahin was on his last year so madrid got him cheap. Like Ozil. 14m is worth it
14m sounds about right, I think Madrid want to make Sahin worth their while on some level at least.
Given that we've already put so much time and effort into this, it's a shame if we only settle on a one year deal. I won't have any issue if we take it to deadline day in our efforts to make it permanent.
Knwoing us, that's probably what will happen.
In any case, 14M for someone like Sahin is a pisstake. Easily worth more.
I bet it isn't £14m. Who's willing? i'll give you 5-1.
You're saying it's more than that? Or less?
Why would we prefer a loan with no option to buy over one with a buy clause? What do we gain?

Less.
Well, he's back training with Madrid now. If he was in London on Monday, he got back to Spain pretty sharpish.
Don't like the sounds of him being in Madrid now either, doesn't sound like the deal is set to be complete.

so many rumours about the details of the deal out there now. hard to know which is true and which is false; or even who's using which source.
Surely will be settled either way soonish. I'm predicting a loan with a high sell-on.
Rumors that Newcastle bid £12M to buy. Liverpool offered to loan with the option to buy for £14M. And we apparently agreed to match liverpools offer. So a loan for £2M with an option to buy for £14M.
There are rumours from the Spanish side that he's going to travel to London today for his medical.
No reliable media outlet other than the daily fail have reported this as being a done deal, not looking too positive at the moment.
Perfect deal for arsenal if it goes through.
wouldnt fancy him in an aerial duel against robert huth in a freezing cold blustery night at stoke tbf
