Agree with Ricky. Ornstein rarely gets it wrong, the AS article was speculating based on what Mourinho said last week regarding not selling the player. Balague has got it wrong many times before.

Think it is quite clear R.Madrid are just going to make this as difficult as possible for us, whether Mourinho has a personal grudge I don't know.

I think the deal in principle has been agreed but just fine details. I think the quality of the player is quite evident in how hard we are being made to work to get him here!

I reckon that right now even those negotiating don't know how this is finally going to pan out.
There are obviously some differences here that are not easily resolved but hopefully they will be resolved in our favour soon.

Hmm...no, not really. He was at pains to say he had no info on the matter, just his personal feeling/hope that he wouldn't.

You know I actually enjoy reading the rumours on here, but I like trying to work out for myself what is happening rather than accepting as absolute truth whatever is flavour of the day on twitter.

I reckon given the information that we do have most OMITers could piece it together and have a good sense of what is going on.

I'm more inclined to treat him as a criminal. He's been selling stuff on twitter that he claims to be player issue stuff and loads of it. He's either nicking it himself or someone at the club is abusing their access to equipment. No way is he legitimately buying this off the club, and then peddling it on twitter for a profit.

Sahin was obviously nowhere near our training ground yesterday, if the deal isn't finalized Madrid would have had a fit if we had him training with us.

Well he has got most things right early on, and ornstein is saying it as well, its upto you really if you want to give any weight to his tweets. Also he cleverly said after 4pm that could mean any time maybe even another day, but his key point is a deal has been finalised which i would say is most probably close to accurate.

AFCAMDEN and DavidOrnstein hasn't got anything wrong at all yet. David in particular only announces deals that are 99% confirmed. AFCAMDEN sometimes tweets about the ongoing stuffs and whatnot of rumours. Still inclined to believe both of them over shit articles who have shit sources since both of them haven't got ANYTHING wrong yet.

I have the impression that what is delaying the deal is Wenger's insistent of having a clause or trying to make it permanent. He don't want us to be feeder for them.

I'm not questioning Ornstein and I do believe the deal is close to being completed but he was not at our training ground yesterday, this isn't amateur hour down at The Arsenal. We only do those sort of things when the deal is 110% complete.
