I am with Klaus. Sahin will be more exciting than Cazorla

No one beats Cazorla on last season's evidence to be fair. But Sahin's potential is arguably even bigger. The main concern is that he hasn't played much in the last twelve months but if he can find his way back to the level he held at Dortmund he'll go down in club history as one of our greatest signings of all time. Just need to make sure that the deal comes with an option to make the loan permanent.

Oliver Kay backtracked and since things changed since Arsenal pushed for a move yesterday

What about an option to sign him permanently? I don't think we'll take him without that clause otherwise we'll just be fattening him up for Real Madrid.

Song out Sahin in would be a great bit of business. He's a smart player and we need more of those.

That is huge praise! I have not seen him play but reading the posts here, hope we can get the deal with permanent option.

Arsene, you legend you. Get in.

M'Vila as well and we'd be almost taking the piss.

I just can't stand the thought of Liverpool getting him. Their fans are insufferable.

@DuncanCastles: Nuri Sahin has informed #RMCF that his preference for a season loan to the Premier League would be Arsenal. #AFC

'course, that is the chap who said Robin signed a deal with Man City back in Feb...

goes pretty much without saying. any sane footballer would prefer arsenal to liverpool.

liverpool were supposed to have sorted this out before the weekend. the fact that they haven't, lead me to believe we're signing him. arsene hijacked the deal.

Sahin is brilliant, but there's definitely not enough power in a Sahin-Arteta-Cazorla midfield. In the wake of Song's departure, I'd buy a proper physical ball winner and play Mikel and Nuri as dual pistons, going forward on the ball, and dropping back off it, in turn. Cazorla as an attacking playmaker on the flank ala 07/08 Hleb but with more goals and assists.

Szczesny
Sagna Koscielny Vermaelen Santos
Arteta M'Vila Sahin
Walcott Podolski Cazorla

With Wilshere, Ox, Gervinho, Giroud and others ready to step in

Come on wenger, sign this bitch!

Aye, my gut tells me that if we miss out on him we'll regret it bigtime.

Would be staggered if Sahin chooses Europa over CL, sounds like we're in the driving seat

I really really want this signing. It has to happen

I'd imagine the Song deal would need to be sorted out pretty quickly if we're realistically going to stand a chance of signing Sahin.

Apparently Song is done. Lee Dixon says he's gone. With Van Persie gone, it accommodates an extra player but wenger spoke a few weeks ago about bendtner, park, finding new clubs. Along with Arshavin, the failure to move those turds along is limiting us on wages.

he could be a revelation at pool or spurs. id rather not risk it and wrap this deal up asap.
