Although I liked Nasri when he played for us, I wouldn't take him back. He just hasn't got the right mentality. The fact that a player of his talent is behind James Milner in the pecking order speaks volumes.

Fuck Nasri, but I'd have Kolo back as a squad player if he'd take that. Thought he'd looked a lot better when I've seen him this season.

And I'd agree that Kos' last season was worse than Kolo at his peak but I think he could easily become a better defender in the next twelve months.

I wouldn't have Toure back. Doesn't have the gifts he used to, and there's no way we could get anything useful out of what's left of him.

As for Koscielny, I'd say he's in the middle of the pack when it comes to defenders in the Wenger era.

Touré's 32. Could see us re-signing him as a Campbell style thing, just maybe. He's out of contract so he'd be on a free. But as third or fourth choice?

Nasri? No way. One of the least winning players around, and has been sure to burn his bridges as well.

He proved it right up until the embarrassment of his performances started to outweigh the embarrassment of benching a £20m signing.

The fact that Mancini prefers Milners speaks volumes about Nasri's attitude. The guy has zero fight and wants everthing handed to him on a plate. He's clearly more talented than Milner but Milner's work ethic and drive has him ahead of the whining little French twat. We have enough talented players with no fight, we need more Wilshere's and fewer Arshavin's, Nasri's etc.

So pleased Koscielny is seemingly back to being first choice. He's performed so well in the last two games, which being away from home, are naturally more testing than home games.

My biggest worry about grabbing a top four spot is if Vermaelen plays.

L'Equipe are reporting that Deschamps will play 4-3-3 with Koscielny, Varane and Pogba in the starting XI.

Kos alongside Varane will definitely be worth a watch.
