Vermaelen and Koscielny each have their supporters.
If the honest truth is that both of them have been error prone and unreliable this season I'm not sure why we're so vigorous in our differences.
In Asa's case I think it's because he wrote Koscielny off shortly after his arrival, and then he had to endure Kos's good performances last season through gritted teeth.
As for the Koscielny supporters like myself, we're still clinging to our memories of that decent player while the own goal machine of the present turns out every other week.
