What? 😐
Because it's not like we used to sell them players like Overmars and Petit in the past.
It's the bit about undeniable quality and magic when we have just signed Podolski and Cazorla while looking to be in for Sahin and Llorente. :hmm:
Aye, when everything is said and done we've probably signed more high-profile players in this window than in the last eight or ten combined.
I'll hold my horses on that one until everything is actually said and done.

Please be true.
Please don't let this be one of your jokes.
Sahin AND Llorente sounds too good to be true. If I had to pick just one of them though, I'd go with Sahin every day of the week. Prolly twice on a Sunday. 🙂
This one's definitely bullshit. Absolutely zero chance Wenger will buy a high profile CF now.
Left out if the squad today... Juve are in for him its seems though
Surely we don't have too many spaces left in the 25 man squad?
We probably have a couple of spots open. Robin, Song and Benayoun have been replaced straight with Podolski, Cazorla and Giroud so numbers wise we're the same as last year. Squillaci, Arshavin, Bendtner and Chamakh will probably be gone soon too.
Any under 21s moving/moved into that bracket?
Coquelin and Szczesny possibly. I'm not sure.
If podolski is supposed to be wide option then i'm all for this. Otherwise, no thanks.
The last time I counted our 25man excluding Cazorla and Sahin we were just nice. Think unless we offload ALL the deadwoods we have no space for another signing excluding Sahin.
we just won't register Park and squillaci if necessary.
Hard to believe we are having so many troubles offloading so many players. Making quite a loss seeing how much we invested in them when they are young.
I don't think Wenger sees Bendtner, Park, Squillaci etc. as part of the squad. Doubt he'd hesitate leaving them out of the 25. It's their wages that are restricting us from progessing.
As it stands, I would hang onto Bendtner. Podolski can hold the ball up better than I thought, but I still don't see him as a viable option at CF week in/week out, so that leaves Giroud and... Chamakh. At least Nicklas has something resembling a goal threat.
With the Sahin deal pretty much tied up, I'd much rather us bring in Llorente or someone in the same bracket rather than a player like M'Vila, for example. Without the addition of another CF, I'm struggling to see where our goals are coming from this season.

The problem is that they're getting paid CL wages when they're all mid table or below players (except Bendtner--MAYBE).
