Weak link, but there are some rumors floating around.

wouldn't be a terrible signing, but i doubt we're after another striker. i think giroud was brought in to replace rvp.
There might be something in this, there have been stories for a while. Havent seen much of him but he looks like a Mario Gomez type of player?
Not sure I'm all that keen on him anymore.

Class player, would fit in instantly.

Depends on what happens to the other clowns, but if Bendtner and Chamakh leave as anticipated then we definitely need another striker just for numbers sake never mind quality.
Wenger is also looking to see what he will do with Park
It'd be very interesting to have Llorente and Giroud fighting for the starting spot up top
It would also mean that for the first time over a gazillion years we'd have a quality replacement for our main striker.
...which is why this is too good to be true.
Giroud is a quality player, and he is the RVP replacement. If you mean 'as good as RVP' by quality, then we were never in the market for such a player. Never have been btw.
I reckon Giroud and Llorente would be pretty decent together; would take a slight tweak and wouldn't be the sort of front pairing we have been used to under Wenger, but they aren't really as similar as their stature suggests.

Would be full of power. Defences would hate marking them
Podolski's no pushover either. His game revolves around power and movement. He's like a stronger version of Van Persie without the flappy arms.
and less technical ability
Finishing ability is pretty much on par I'd say, though.
I don't get the Llorente hype at all. Think he's overrated.
Don't think we need Llorente since we got Giroud. Would rather we get Tevez or Jovetic. Midget pacy players
Jovetic is 6'
Has there ever been a serious link for us to this guy ever?
It's reminding me of the Huntelaar stories a few years back.
Papers just making up shit

Yeah, but humanity is getting taller.
