no that's because we didn't stand a chance when united came in.
M'Baye Niang

I wouldnt mind signing him, but we have more pressing issues, and knowing how lazy wenger is, he will take a month off before his next signing.
Well Niang is going to cost a few million, those guys are all moving for well over £30m.
Also it's probably just lazy journalism but it's proper irritating having spurs being linked to all the players we're linked with
Did we win the lottery or something?
spoilt rotten timBO. Think this is wenger doing it to flip the bird to rvp
Seriously need to stop buying cack from the French league. Let's try sticking to the proven-ability thing we're going for atm.
Why is it wrong to buy talented kids? That is what we do you know. It isn't like this guy is for the first team straight away or anything.
Yeah. Especially when we are buying for 3rd choice striking position.
No point buying players like Park and don't play him. Might as well get young strikers who don't mind sitting on the bench while developing their skills.

Yep, it's not one or the other.
Because they either turn out to be shit and the good ones iron out all their mistakes at arsenal and then when they hit the prime of their career they leave, a long list of senderos, denilson, bendtner, clichy, vela, nasri, fabregas etc and now song, walcott, vpersie proves this.
Why waste time on these unloyal kids, when you can stick with the new policy of buying ready made players 22+ and capable of giving the prime of their career to arsenal.
If we are going to get these youngsters firstly its a waste of transfer time, and secondly it will stop wenger from signing players when he comes up with excuses like his squad is too big (full of youngsters) or signing x will kill y
Exactly we've seen it all before. I suppose we do need to keep our youth squad talented but if this really is a 3rd choice striker, I'd like to remind you what arsenal's injury record is like. It won't be long until we have to turn to him.
Someone also turns out to be a Vieira or a Henry.
We need to keep buying the best young talent from across the world. The hit rate may be low but we may just chance upon a world class player for the future.
If not, all youngsters have been decent enough for us to recover our money or get a decent profit. The problem with the last few years hasn't been buying young talent but to throwing them into the deep end together.
We absolutely need to continue looking for the best young talent.
I find that reasoning narrow minded. Besides, every case is different, you can't seriously compare Vela's departure to Fabregas'
Judge a player on their own merits.
Clichy, Nasri, Fabregas, Song and Van Persie have no place in that list of yours.
It's not about wasting time on buying young players, it's about surrounding them with experienced quality. And that's what Wenger is finally doing.
If we wouldn't buy 'em young, we couldn't afford talents like Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Vieira and henry were at big clubs when they arrived they were not teenage youngsters who had to go through reserve football. And chambo is an english player, so its slightly different, although he has been a great buy. Signing the odd talented youngster here and there is great but signing one or two every window isnt.
Clichy Fabregas song all signed as teenagers and went through the reserve league, two have gone like cunts, and song seems to be heading that way.
Vieira had just turned 20 when we bought him, so that's not a very good example isn't it? Nowadays top talents like him get poached at a much younger age, so we have to do the same, or miss out.
Clichy went like a cunt? Song seems to be heading that way?
Okay.
Because players above the age of 22 are never cunts to their club. :\
Well clichy didnt sign his contract and wanted out, but fair enough not like a cunt but he forced his move, and song who knows, but my point is 23-29 the player in most cases is in the peak of their careers some may develop even later, so i would prefer to have them playing for us during those years.
