Heh. Yea. I meant defenders would be more scared of any striker with a 23 million pound price-tag over our Moroccan Sharkattack. Guess it was pretty vague.

Sorry Coombsy, but I can't see any logic in that at all.

Again I fail to mention the critical point here: I really wasn't being serious, and obviously, I wasn't really being lucid, just stupid.

Your avatar suits you.

Does the brain control you or are you controlling the brain? I don't know if I'm in charge of mine.

Juventus won't pay €30m for him, we certainly wouldn't.

These daft £23m plus valuations that clubs put on their top players are only valid if one of the clubs with unlimited money, without self imposed restrictions on spending, is interested.

It's probably just a bluff from the president anyway.

We could probably get him for £18m to £20m?

I'd take him for £23m. We can sell Robin for that and even more so why not

Suarez went for 22 m and his talent is probably worth that much, though jovetic is probably going for 20 m

Everything becomes clear at the end of the window. Positive thing is we seem to have another £20m or so we're willing to put in the market, though knowing us that's entirely contingent on Van Persie's sale.

Guess he won't be making our pre season trip to Asia now.

Since when? I still have no idea what happened last summer.

Think most of us would be very happy with our summer if we sell RVP and replaced him with Jovetic. Funny enough, we will actually be stronger than last season.

yea thats why this won't happen. would vastly prefer him over cazorla, too. give me the six-footer with the rockstar hair over the midfield midget any day.

To clarify: at the end of the window, we know which players we do and do not have. 🙂

Really? Coz i'm still unsure about park...

He's the unidentified PL striker who's caught the eye of UAE champions Al Ain.

Let me refresh your memory, Wenger was living in denial thinking he could hold on to Nasri and Fabregas delaying any purchases (sound familiar?), when the inevitable happened and they were sold anyway, we went into the season woefully unprepared and he had the gall to play a team of kids at Old Trafford where we were duly fucking arse raped by Man U in a day that will live in infamy.
Wenger tbf did bring in some handy stopgap players which rescued the season, but the damage had been done.

"I spoke to Jovetic and told him he is off the market for numerous reasons. I hope he understood that," said Della Valle.

"He is so young and has such a long career ahead of him that it is important he stays in Florence for a while.

"Jovetic has to remain with us for at least another year and I hope many more. He is one of the few genuine European talents, so it's only right that he stays.

"Stevan seemed pretty relaxed. He has to understand that in life other opportunities will cross his path.

Looks like Jovetic is staying with Fiorentina.
🙁
Even though I guess our interest was of the admiring as opposed to serious pursuit variety.
Better he stays there than go to Chelsea though.
