How can you assume to know why people aren't blown away by watching Spain Tony?
For my part when I watched games as a neutral(ish) I just want to see a real hard fought contest.
Games involving this Spanish side are rarely like that.
Some nights, tonight being an example, they look sharp and clinical and lethal in possession, more often than not they look ponderous, probing, patient and happy to hold the ball without creating much in the way of chances.
Possession as a form of defence, suffocating the opposition and the chance of a decent game.
They're too good at what they do and nobody has found an answer to that in three tournaments now.
Good on them, if I were Spanish I'd party all night but I'm not, so it leaves me cold.
