Anyway, can't begrudge Spain's win. They have been brilliant today. It's games like against Croatia and the first half against Ireland that piss me off. Here they have mixed their tiki-taka with aggressive forward play and it has been wonderful.

Italy haven't fluked it here either. They were comfortably better than England and Germany on the day.

Italy are a good team, they just haven't been at their best today but that has a lot to do with how good Spain have been.

They aren't likable individuals but certainly an incredible set of footballers.

Italy battered England, outplayed Germany, then got absolutely taken apart by Spain.

You're not being fair if you can't admit they're a brilliant team. Far too good for everyone else. Best internatiobal team I've seen. Easily.

Casillas was the only Spanish player to go and meet the Italians after the whistle while the rest were wanking on the center circle. He really is a class act. Only likable player in the entire team.

Surrounded by suicidal Italians and the maniacally noisy Spanish. Italy outclassed with eleven men and destroyed with ten.
No contest, good if you like watching one way traffic or a procession I guess.
Spain truly are brilliant at what they do in tournaments, like it or not that's the standard, the challenge for everyone else I guess.
