Really cool professional performance from Italy.
Sucked the spirit out of the Germans.

It may be a complete over simplification to say that all Italy had to do was ride their luck in the first twenty minutes, keep close and tight to the German attacking players, take advantage of the lax German defence who stood off them and allowed them space, get the ball to Balotelli who took his chances brilliantly and then close up shop and defend with ease.

Good game but Germany really didn't show up.

The final is going to be so boring which highlights how bad this euro has been. So boring and abysmal. Spain will probably win it 1-0 but Italy have it in them to win it.

It may not be an entertaining final but the football is guaranteed to be top quality.

Two of the best technical teams, two of the most classy midfields.

It will be cagey but i am looking forward to it.

The first hour was great entertainment. Germany coming close plenty and Italy punishing them on the break. Really exciting. Then Reus came on and brightened it up again but Prandelli tactically outclassed Loew tonight and his second half substitutions really kept a lid on Germanys midfield and won them the game.

Podolski was worryingly poor.
Starting Kroos and leaving him on for ninety minutes was a bigger mistake though
Reus had earned a start based on his display against Greece.

Schweinsteiger and Hummels were horrendous.

Well at least I got 1 finalist prediction right. Italy are brilliant. I just knew that they would at the very least run the game real close, especially after all the wanking over the Germans. Turns out they were better than them for almost the full 90. Class match.

By the way, Arsene was hilarious as a commentator tonight - all sorts of zingers left and right. 😃 He must have enjoyed a few glasses of a nice Bordeaux beforehand. Or maybe he's loosened up for the new season with the new (and hopefully upcoming) signings.
