Very disappointed in all that.
Blanc's stupid selection hampered us hugely. Diarra did a good defensive job but neither he, Mexes or Rami can pass the ball well and as a result we could never start attacks from deep. Needed Kos badly for that.
Too many misplaced passes and missed runs from the midfield too which pissed me off. Cabaye did a great shackling job but he had a few absurd brainfarts, and I don't see what the fuck Malouda is doing there. He's not a creative player, he doesn't have the pace/power he used too and he's not even a reliable passer. Offered nothing. We would have been much better off with some pass/move players instead of Malouda/Ribery/Benzema standing like statues. Ben Arfa needs to play.
I'll admit to chanting Nasri's name when he scored. Thought he was the best player from the front 5, even if his tendency to not make runs stifled us a little.
Ribery did his Robben impression. When he's on form, he's brilliant and it's worth it, but after 30 or so minutes you can tell which Ribery has shown up and I would have taken him off early in the second half.
Benzema disappointed me greatly. Where was the hunger? Just kept moving too far deep and not working the channels or making off the ball runs.
England were shit and were there for the taking. Predictably they had 1 chance all game and took it.
