I think he has to extend his contract or go, we can't go into a third summer in a row with a key first team player in the last year of his contract.

I think I've made my feelings clear about Song before, think we need to get a more natural DM player as I think our midfield's shape and discipline in simple substandard when it comes to defending and it has to start with him.

I like song and for the sake of stability in our squad i would prefer if we keep him. We don't have anyone else close to being a DM like song on a consistent basis and we are losing alot more if we sold him to barcelona.

Arsenal midfielder Alex Song is reportedly closing in on a move to Barcelona after agreeing personal terms with the Spanish giants.

This would really, really bug me. No need to sell him.
We better be bleeding a hefty transfer fee out of them if this is true.

Well if this story is Song's agent's work to strengthen their hand in negotiations with us then he's upped it a level.
