Just heard on the radio that Bastia (who have been promoted to Ligue 1 for next season) want to sign Squillaci. They are a very small club though so I doubt they'll even offer us 1 million. I'd take it, but it depends how tight the board are, I guess.

Reminds me a bit when we managed to ship Cygan to Villareal for £2M 6/7 years ago, I actually couldn't believe someone would pay for him. So, I'd say any offer is a good offer.

yep, will be good to get off the wage bill, and seems botelho is on his way out, which i'm pumped about.

as for djourou, i firmly believe he's much better than he showed last season. young-ish CBs can have bad seasons, especially when they're not getting regular playing time and are being played out of position.

It's time for Djourou to move on, he's at the age where he should be first choice at club. Yeah I know he's perfect for a fourth choice center back but the problem with Djourou his that he needs a run of games to get the best out of him same with Fabianski.

That's why I want a fourth choice center back to be an old pro that comes into the side once in a while does his job, without needing run of games to get the best out of him.

There must be someone out there willing to pay a reasonable fee for Bendtner, around £6-7 million. He's nothing special, but it's plain for anyone to see that he's a decent enough centre forward and he's still really young.
