Capi, Cazorla's best position is obviously centrally.
No it isn't. He's a winger.
I agree with that Capi, but I think he would be the most useful to the team from central midfield. At least from the off.
I had never seen him play centrally until last season, and even then he spent a lot of time out wide.
Could you say (as I've heard it said) that his more natural position is on the wing but he can easily play as a central playmaker who can fulfil an attacking role if supported by a more defensive midfielder? He generally plays as one of three forward midfield players (in either of the two wide areas?) behind the central striker?
He will play centrally and he'll dictate the shape of our play.
Of the midfielders that we have he'd be the top man, the best for that role then, even if he could technically be described as more of a winger.
No, he's a winger...
😆 Wenger will settle this debate.

Well said
What's that donut going to tell me?
But seriously, this team is fucked. So, so unbalanced.
Are you just being contrary Captain? Can you not see a reasonably balanced team being shaped from the players we currently have available?
Capi wants his M'Vila. 🙂
Y I know he can play across the pitch, but he'll be used as he often is for Spain.
Wenger will look to use pace and power out wide, so guys like gervinho, theo, ox, podolski, maybe even ryo will be used out there

He often likes to go against general opinion for going against general opinions sake.
No, the team is fucked.
Hey I agree with you Dula, I expect him to be played centrally.

What are you on about. Cazorla is a winger; always has been.
Wenger has always like technical, creative wingers, and most other successful managers are the same. Wouldn't be surprised to see Cazorla on the wing with Podolski as CF at all.
And I think I'd actually like that.
Of course, Wenger will settle it in the end.
One wideman absolutely must be able to maintain possession and fulfill a playmaker role.
Loading your no.10 with all of the creative burden will get you 3rd, 4th, maybe a trophy if you are fortunate; we've seen it and with better players than Cazorla.
