No, his numbers have been very good for three seasons now. Probably the most consistent winger in terms of output and prior to that he wasn't a regular.

Liverpool was never an option at all because it'd be such a step down, even now. If he waited until the summer most clubs would have made him an offer if he was interested in them.

Anyway it seems like Theo got his wish, to play up front. He seems to still be getting the 90k he was offered in the summer. The signing on fee has probably been raised a bit but really not much else has changed apart from where he's been played.

Well if I was the manager, I'd tell him what he wanted to hear re: starting up front, and then chuck him right back on the wings soon as he's signed on. I suspect this is what will happen eventually.

and i do agree that he doesnt have that understanding of whats going on around him that the great players have. he sees the obvious things but doesnt really see one or two moves ahead. this actually true of most of our players, and it's why we rarely see third man combinations.

I don't think it'll take Wenger exiling Theo to the wings personally. A few underwhelming performances up front would change his mind - no player wants to actually play a position that isn't their best, regardless of what they may insist.

What exact;y do you mean by third man combinations?

he means pace, movement.... and desire

He just means a third runner in an offensive move. In Kami's case I think it's particularly the off the ball runner who receives and scores after the initial combination has already been played.

Nothing to do with resting the bowler or Orson Welles.
