Indeed he has, that goal and a good few others at the time showed what a natural finisher he is. He has always been as cool as ice in the box when one on one, the problem has always been the other parts of his games. Definitely still work in progress especially as a forward but he really is such a different player. A lot more confident on the pitch when up against a defender or in a confined space and also off the pitch in interviews he just comes across as much more of a confident person.
His last goal and Giroud's second goal shows one of his big improvements as a player, there was a time even up against sub standard full backs Theo couldn't beat his man but now is much more willing to take a player on and much more aggressive. He always looked afraid before whereas now it might not always work but he will keep on going at him.
