It annoyed me when people were saying his first goal was a result of Henrys coaching since he's been here in recent weeks. Walcott has been finishing like that since 2007. If anything its his trademark now.

Indeed, Henry had much more variety to his finishing.

He looks a real threat someone who puts fear into the opponent as an individual and can change a match directly though scoring, haven't had that in a long time.

Ba looked a much more accomplished centre forward today, and I dont know that theo will ever look THAT good. But Theo will get you goals and assists over a season.

Pay him 100k+, that's fine, but if I was Podolski or Cazorla's agent I'd take it as an affront if my client was being paid less.

Well this is the point that nobody seems to want to understand or acknowledge. The question is then whether we can afford to pay 6 or 7 of them over 100k, not just Theo. If the answer is yes (and as far as I can see, it should be) then there is something severely wrong with the priorities of this club. If the answer is no, it is what it is and we'll have to manage our contracts better.

They'll be asking for new ones. If someone who has less experience and hasn't proven himself to my level is earning more than I am, I'm going to pipe up. And there is nothing the club can do but say "tough. You've got another 3 years left, deal with it", and then we hope there's no ill-feeling.
