they should be offering to bump him up to 60k and just extending it by a year. so instead of him being out of contract in 2 1/2 years, it would be 3 1/2. we don't need ridiculous cesc style extensions that don't mean anything because the player can still say fuck you i'm out. we just need to stay a little bit ahead of the contract run down ploy, nothing major ... daniel levy style.
in truth jack should be offering to extend his contract by a year at the same level to make up for the fact that he missed an entire season and he's a so called gooner. i don't expect it from the others because they never claim to love arsenal.
