Nasri was never a pussy when he was here. Whatever else about him he never allowed himself be bullied and he never hid.

I don't see how only having 1 good season makes him a pussy. It just makes him not as good as some thought. Even with that said I reckon he's a lot better than he's showing at City. Same for 90% of their team.

The 'pussy' comment relates to my personal view on his mentality rather than any notion that he can be physically intimidated. He spent half his time at Arsenal a bit unfit and slightly over weight IMO. Looks the same at City now. He has massive talent, but nothing about him suggests that he will ever fulfil his potential. He's in his mid twenties and he's not even nearly the player he could be, so something is obviously not right there.

Nah, I wouldn't have him over Podolski, Walcott, Wilshere or Cazorla.

Not sure we even need a Nasri type but if we did it would make much more sense to go for someone like Eriksen or Isco.

IMO RvP would of failed if he had left earlier in his career and Nasri was another who needed to stay here longer before leaving.

Nah. Just needed to keep developing. Half of them don't realise that it's Wenger who brings out the best of them. Hleb never got it either. Walcott, to his credit, seems to have understood.

True, I think Santi is better than Nasri.

Could play Theo on the left, Poldi central, Nasri right and drop Giroud but it'd probably fuck everything up.

He's not a better footballer but he's more direct and by extension delivers better numbers.

He is a better footballer. He might not be as fancy a footballer but he's more effective and therefore better.
