There are rumours that Ferguson is interested in Hummels and Lewandowski though. Both would make more sense than Kagawa from United's perspective if it wasn't for the fact that they've been rumoured to be after him for at least a year and a half now.
I don't think Kagawa was in Manchester earlier this week at any rate. There's an interview with Michael Zork, the sporting director at Dortmund, on Bild's website where he says that he met with Kagawa's advisors this monday. That's when the player told him that he definitely won't extend his contract.
