... whenever you reply to a thread. Same as on Arsenal-Mania. You can't reload the page afterwards without the thread jumping to your last post. Is it possible to disable that horrible function? It's so annoying.
Do you mean that after you post a reply, you refresh the page, and even if there's been 50 new posts since you posted, it still brings up the page with your post?
Yeah, precisely. No matter how far down you've scrolled it'll jump right back to your last post until you either delete the added mark in the URL by hand or click on another page. It's something that you notice in match threads particularly, where people tend to post more frequently.
The only easily achievable alternative I think would be to have you returned to the first page after a new post, which would be more annoying.

This forum is a hundred times faster than A-M anyway, and the pages seem shorter too, so it's not a huge problem.
