Sounds good. I'm tired of fannying about so i'll just buy it this week i think.

Anyone insure their phone? Its an additional 140 quid so i don't think i'll bother.

I bottled paying the 570 and have decided to buy a second hand phone.

I-phone 4 available for 275 euro (220 pounds) about an hours drive away. Its unlocked and she seems genuine so don't think i'm being conned/ripped off....worth it? If i don't hear anything bad in the next half hour i'm going to pick it up!

Don't know anything about iphones but that seems a fairly standard price for a second hand 4.

I could probably get a better deal if i waited but its a fair price (some are selling for over 100 more) and its about as local as i'm going to get. Was set on a Galaxy 2 or 3 but screw it this is handy and more affordable.

Big mistake there. Both the HTC OneX and the Samsung Galaxy3 are way better phones. The Iphone5 as well of course.

Try adding it to your home insurance, I did that, an extra €40 as opposed to the €150 or whatever my network provider wanted.

Clever idea.

@ Rex - those phones cost an awful lot more though which is why i had a change of heart. Its a big improvement on what I had which is good enough for me. Kind of pissed off that they want my credit card details before i can get apps (have no intention in buying music off i-tunes or paying for apps) but i knew that this kind of thing would be the case with apple.

Dropped my S3 today and it's messed up the screen. Everything works fine but it has a big crack at the bottom left and a big scratch down the center. It's not insured either. Chances of me getting this fixed relatively cheap and without having to deal with Samsung themselves?

Got my Galaxy Note II today, loving it so far. I know some that the screen is too big for many, but not for me. Excellent phone, even better processor than the S3 and twice as much RAM.

i'm gonna be the lone dissenter here, but nokia lumia 920 for me. best camera and screen in the biz. should be released in 2 weeks.

you europeans are lucky you can just buy any phone and use it on any carrier. that's proper capitalism. the US wireless market is completely messed up.

Our phone system has always been better. We were sending texts before you guys even knew you could do it.

And 80 dollars for routine contracts on smartphones is ridiculous. Being charged for receiving calls? No way.

I've seen contracts for 21 pounds per month with a free phone on the Samsung S3.
