I'm seriously contemplating to stop using a smartphone altogether. I was thinking of upgrading this month because I'm still on an iphone 4, but then I realised what it costs, and it's just not worth it. It's hand on heart the most useless thing in my possession.
It's funny because 2-3 years ago I couldn't have managed without it for more than a day, but things have changed quickly. I barely ever use it to call people, and I never go anywhere without my bag and an ipad mini. I text people from the pad, it has a better camera and screen than the phone does, and I use Skype for practically everything else. Plus my apartment building still has a landline.
